Police shot a dog that bit a man in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
The shooting occurred after officers were sent to Seventh Street and Gladys Avenue about 9:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The injured man, in his 60s, was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said. No officers were injured. The dog's condition was not immediately known.
