Winds are expected to gradually weaken through Saturday, but will remain gusty at times. Peak gusts between 30 and 50 miles per hour are expected, with isolated gusts reaching 60.

Wednesday will see humidity levels lowered to critical levels starting in the afternoon. They are expected to continue to drop as low as 2 to 8% by Thursday and Friday alongside poor overnight recovery, especially in mountainous areas.

Combined, high winds and low humidity have triggered red flag conditions for L.A. and Ventura counties, with especially high-risk periods centered on Wednesday through Thanksgiving. Winds will weaken on Friday, but critical conditions will sustain due to low moisture.
