Several cars burn in Canoga Park apartment carport

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to put out flames in several vehicles parked inside a carport outside a Canoga Park apartment building Monday morning.

The fire was reported at 4:14 a.m. Monday at 7249 N. Jordan Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Nicholas Prange.

The carport was detached from the three-story garden-style apartment building, Prange said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
