The family of a Rancho Cucamonga grandmother was left infuriated after her home was broken into.

Jessica Pollock, the victim's granddaughter, told KNX News that the incident happened on Tuesday morning while her grandmother was away on vacation.

“The neighbor's daughter went over to [the grandmother's] house after school to water her plants and when she walked up the driveway, she saw that the gate was lying outside in the driveway,” she said. “And so she called her mom and her mom called the police.”

Ring video obtained by the family shows one of the suspects approaching the home and knocking at the door. The man waits before knocking again.

Additional video reviewed by KNX News showed the same man inside the home with another man.

“After [the suspects] each knocked on the door individually, they went and they lifted the gate off its hinges, and then they went into the backyard and they actually cut a hole through her metal security door to gain access into the house,” Pollock said.

Pollock said the suspects were at the house for 40 minutes. They emptied her grandmother’s jewelry box and took off with her iPad, vintage Barbie collection, and a computer that she uses to help people do their taxes.

“It's technically not hers. It's through AARP because she volunteers to do people's taxes for free through the senior center,” Pollock said.

Pollock said the incident left her angry and in disbelief.

“It's unfortunate that people prey on those who really don't deserve it,” she said. “My grandma is a sweet woman…and it's just heartbreaking and it feels like it's just rotten.”

Pollock said she hopes that someone would recognize the men in the video and that they say something.
