HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - The Tesla owned by popular singer D4Vd, where the decomposing and dismembered body of a 15-year-old girl was found at a Hollywood tow yard, had been ticketed 11 days before the body of the missing teenager was found in the vehicle's trunk, it was reported Saturday.

The 2023 Tesla registered to David Anthony Burke and had been parked on Bluebird Avenue in Hollywood Hills for so long that some residents complained about it in late August, leading the car to be ticketed, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A parking enforcement officer marked the Tesla, on Aug. 27, noting the position of its tires, according to The Times. The officer issued a citation on Sept. 3 to the Tesla for violating the 72-hour parking ordinance.

The Tesla had been abandoned near a home in the 1300 block of Doheny Place, not far from a home Burke had rented.

Last week, police served a search warrant at the house and took several items as possible evidence in the ongoing investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A tow yard worker, passing the Tesla on Sept. 8, caught the familiar smell of death and alerted police to his concerns. A detective, agreeing with his suspicions, obtained a search warrant and opened the trunk, according to The Times. Hernandez's body was found a day after her 15th birthday.

Hernandez, who grew up in Lake Elsinore, was in the seventh grade. Her family had reported her missing at least three times in 2024, according to the Riverside Count Sheriff's Office.

According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office, her body has been released and a GoFundMe campaign has raised almost $25,000 to help pay for her funereal costs.

"As many of you know, Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been identified as the body found last week," the girl's family said in a statement posted to the GoFundMe page, which indicated a service was planned for Oct. 4. "She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss. Any funds you are able to donate are greatly appreciated."
