A young child is reportedly in good condition after being found abandoned in a stroller in Hancock Park early Tuesday morning.

The toddler, who was described by police as a 2- to 3-year-old Black girl, was found by a passerby in the 100 block of Larchmont Boulevard around 3 a.m., according to KTLA. Police said she seemed to be in good condition, but was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Service is investigating the case.
