Torrance police investigates pumpkin patch shooting

A shooting investigation was underway after a woman opened fire at a Torrance pumpkin patch Sunday, police said.

It happened at 8:12 p.m. off of Del Amo Circle East and Carson Street.

A woman fired a shot and immediately left the area, according to Torrance police. Responding officers found the woman and were able to recover a firearm.

Her identity has not been revealed at this time.

Nobody was struck by gunfire during the incident and police determined it was an isolated incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
