The latest incarnation of President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame may not bode well for its future on the iconic sidewalk.
It's unclear at this point if Trump's star is being protected or restored.
TMZ broke the story Sunday that Trump's star is now surrounded by a steel barricade and covered by a wood plank. The question is whether the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has placed it behind the metal and under the wood in order to keep people from continuing to vandalize it, or its under some kind of repair. Either way, the star has had its share of vandals over the years.
In October, just after news broke that President Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for coronavirus - the Incredible Hulk allegedly smashed Trump's star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, someone dressed up like the Incredible Hulk, apparently, according to the LA Times Friday.
Last April, his star was vandalized with with a coat of black paint and then the words "Putin's B****" spray-painted across in white paint. At the time, the star was cleaned up after a few hours.
