Police warned those who live in Wilshire-area neighborhoods about a series of burglaries that involve Wi-Fi jammers.
Wi-Fi jammers are “used to interrupt the internet Wi-Fi capabilities for burglar alarms and cameras,” according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Suspects use them as they enter the home.
Officers said the suspects enter the homes through the second-story balconies and pursue purses, high-end jewelry, and money among other valuables.
Anyone with any information on these burglaries was urged to contact Wilshire Burglary detectives at Wilshireburglary@lapd.online or call (8000 222-8477.
