A woman was shot to death in Compton, authorities said Tuesday.
The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were conducting a crime scene investigation.
