It’s hard to imagine a world without the Internet and social media, especially the music world.

While the inter-webs are to thank for many present-day musicians “making it”, Slash of Guns N’ Roses says it would’ve had the opposite effect for him if it was around in the early GN'R days.

During an interview with Yahoo Entertainment the Rock icon reflected on his early days in Rock N’ Roll and just how different the times were.

“We would not have fared well in this environment, for sure… on so many different levels,” he shared. “But I mean, a lot of things from back then would not be what you consider acceptable at this moment in time.”

He continued, “I’m just glad that we didn’t have the internet back then! It would’ve been a different world altogether…. most of everything that [Guns N’ Roses] did would’ve gotten us canceled in this day and age.”
