“Yeah, I got hit with the COVID right after the premiere,” he explained of the recent “Dune” premiere.

“There was a lot of people that I met in England. I got a lot of aloha from people,” he said.

He assured fans that he is “doing fine” and thanked them for “concerns and love.”

“I’ve got some really cool stuff that’s coming out that I wanted to share, but unfortunately, I can’t leave the house,” he said while promoting his dirty pink drifter shoes at Soill that are available now for preorder now.

The actor revealed that he’s in quarantine with professional skateboarder and roommate Erik Ellington.

Momoa seemed in good spirits as he laughed and noted that quarantine is “going pretty good.”

“Yeah, we’re having a ball, man,” he told Instagram as Ellington skateboarded through the house.

The New York Post reported that Momoa tested positive on the set of the latest installment in the “Aquaman” franchise.

An insider said that the positive result is forcing production to “delay their tight filming schedule."

However, it’s a measure that’s necessary to ensure everyone’s safety and the hope is that they can continue work around Momoa’s absence.

The star has been busy promoting his theatrical blockbuster, “Dune,” which is already setting box office records.

The star-studded sci-fi epic reboot has scored a milestone opening weekend raking in $40.1 million.

Momoa stars opposite Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, and Zendaya, but he was most starstruck by Javier Bardem.

He noted feeling simultaneously “underqualified and privileged to be there.”

“[It] was definitely when we were all together, when Javier walks in and we meet Stilgar. It’ll go down in my top-five moments because I got to work with those heavy hitters,” Momoa explained to Entertainment Weekly.

“I never stood and acted with that level of talent before,” he added.

He also explained that there’s a subtle nod to his 12-year-old son in the final combat scene.

"There’s definitely these intimate moments where I’m signaling to my son," Momoa explained of the Easter egg he snuck into the scene.

"That’s a Kali move, where you put your hand on your heart and put it on your head. That’s to Timothée in the movie, but that’s to my son in real life,” he added.

“Dune” is currently in theaters. You can grab tickets right here!

"Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" is set to premiere on December 16, 2022.
