Jeff Bezos has taken the lead in the billionaire space race and doesn’t seem to be looking back.
The Amazon and Blue Origin founder has already launched William Shatner into space, and now another celebrity is set to take the trip.

It was announced recently that "Good Morning America" host Michael Strahan will join Alan Shepard’s daughter and four others on Blue Origin’s next trip to space.
It appears Blue Origin’s next space flight will be just as star-studded as the last, with the former NFL star and the daughter of America’s first astronaut set to see what space is all about.
According to CNN, Strahan and Laura Shepard Churchley will be joined by four paying customers; Dylan Taylor, Evan Dick, Lane Bess and Cameron Bess. It will be the first Blue Origin flight to fill all six seats in the New Shepard rocket and capsule.
The announcement was made by Strahan on "Good Morning America," who claimed he had to be measured to make sure he would fit in the capsule.
Though Strahan is ready to launch, not all celebrities are eager to venture into space. Earlier this month, Tom Hanks shared that he was offered a chance to join a Blue Origin flight but turned it down.
Hanks, who was promoting his film "Finch" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," was asked by Kimmel about the rumors that he was invited by Jeff Bezos to fly to space.
Hanks confirmed the rumor, but claimed he turned down the invite after he was asked to pay for his ticket.
“You know, it cost 28 million bucks or something like that, and I’m doing good, Jimmy, I’m doing good. But I ain’t paying 28 [million] bucks,” joked Hanks.
The actor then went on to simulate what it may have been like to take the 12 minute Blue Origin flight to space while in his chair, adding “I can do that at home.”
