(Kansas City, MO) – The Kansas City Chiefs trimmed their roster down on Tuesday, ahead of the NFL's 53-man-roster deadline of 3:00 pm. Among the most notable of the roster cuts were RB Darwin Thompson, DB BoPete Keyes, DE Tim Ward, and WR Marcus Kemp who was released but expected to be brought back to the 53-man-roster once moves to the IR are made. As a vested veteran, Kemp is not subject to waivers.
