Former Wichita State third baseman Alec Bohm finished runner-up this season in voting for National League Rookie of the Year in Major League Baseball.
Bohm batted .338 in his rookie campaign, playing 44 games this season for the Philadelphia Phillies.
The former Shocker was the #3 overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft.
Bohm garnered 30% of the first-place votes for NL Rookie of the Year; the award was won by relief pitcher Devin Williams of the Milwaukee Brewers.
