The Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Terry Pluto joined Ken Carman and Anthony Lima to talk about the life of his friend and former Cavs/Indians Voice Joe Tait.
Terry talked about the style that Joe had and how it became the style that NBA announcers gravitated to, how Joe endeared himself to Northeast Ohio even though he was raised in Illinois and how Joe was able to work with so many different types of broadcast partners.
Terry also talked about why Joe was so descriptive, if Joe ever thought about leaving Cleveland permanently and why he came back to do the Cavs after Ted Stepien sold the team.
Terry finished what the players thought of Joe and how Joe reacted to the Cavs winning the NBA title in 2016.
