In this edition of Top-10 Stats, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young shoots like Ice Trae (but not in a good way), Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart lives up to his surname, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry proves why he isn't slowing down anytime soon, and Los Angeles Dodgers veteran pitcher Clayton Kershaw resembles his old Cy Young-caliber self.
25 -- On Monday night, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry scored 30 points in fewer than 25 minutes played for the very first time in his career. This applies to both the regular season and postseason. Not too shabby for someone's who played 940 total games since joining the NBA in 2009.

40/0 -- Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson became the first player in team history to finish with 40 points and zero turnovers in a postseason game. This is a franchise that's headlined all-time greats in Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki, and Luka Doncic, just to name a few. Brunson was a second-round pick in 2018.
$100.5 million -- The Cleveland Browns and cornerback Denzel Ward agreed to a five-year, $100.5 million contract on Monday. This makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. Ward turns 25 years old next week.
26 -- Congratulations are in order for Boston Celtics star Marcus Smart, who's been named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year. It's been 26 years since a guard last received the award (Gary Payton). Celtics playmakers Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown weren't even born yet.
30/10 - On Sunday, Phoenix Suns veteran guard Chris Paul became the fifth player in NBA history with 10 career playoff games of 30 points and 10 assists. The others to do it are LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Jerry West, and Oscar Robertson. They have a combined 12 league titles between them. Paul is still searching for his first.
1st -- When Celtics star Jayson Tatum hit a game-winning layup at the buzzer in Game 1 of their first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets, he became the first player in team history to ever hit a buzzer-beater in a home playoff game. Forget the amount of games, series, or even conference titles that Boston's won. This is a team that's captured 17 NBA championships.
4 -- Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson connected on nine threes off the bench in their Game 1 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon. That's four more threes than the Hawks' starting five made combined.
10th -- On the flip side, Hawks guard Trae Young went a bitter cold 1-for-12 in Game 1 against Miami. He was tied for fifth in scoring in the NBA this season. On Sunday, he was tied for 10th in scoring, with eight points.
18 -- Give the Minnesota Timberwolves credit for upsetting the heavy-favorite Memphis Grizzlies in Game 1 of their first-round series. Believe it or not, this is the first time they've led in a playoff series since 2004.
36 -- In his first career playoff game, T-Wolves star Anthony Edwards scored 36 points. He's one of four players to score 35-plus points in a playoff game before turning 21, joining Derrick Rose, Tyler Herro, and Magic Johnson.
