Shockers suffer loss in regular season finale

Wichita State Men's Basketball finishing up their season at home Sunday afternoon facing Tulsa. The Shockers hadn't lost on Senior Day since 2018, and hadn't lost to Tulsa while at Charles Koch Arena since 2001. But WSU started cold, managed to fight their way back to a tie at halftime, but couldn't really ever take control. Tulsa defeated the Shockers 73-63.

Wichita State drops to 18-13, 8-10 in the AAC. Before the game Wichita State recognized eight seniors: Quincy Ballard, Xavier Bell, Harlond Beverly, Bijan Cortes, Ronnie DeGray III, Justin Hill, AJ McGinnis and Zane Meeks.

Corey Washington scored a team-high 14 points to go with eight rebounds. Harlond Beverly chipped in 11 points off the bench and Xavier Bell added 10. Quincy Ballard pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.
