Valley View Casino & Hotel in Valley Center, east of Escondido and south of Temecula, has undergone a $50 million expansion.
The casino and restaurant space has grown to 143,000 square feet, including 2,000 slot machines and two new restaurants, in addition to Black&Blue Steakhouse.
The new restaurants include The Cafe and Patties & Pints. The Cafe will offer breakfast, brunch, and lunch; while Patties & Pints has pub-style food and draft beer.
The casino hotel is set to host a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 3. The festivities begin with a video montage at 9:00a, four speakers beginning at 10:00a, and the official ribbon cutting at 11:00a.
