The Silverado Fire in Orange County has burned 200 acres and is growing Monday.

A very dangerous situation in the Silverado Canyon area of Orange County where a fast moving wildfire is being driven by high Santa Ana winds.

OC fire captain Greg Barta tells KNX 1070 "The last update was 200 acres and growing. It is wind driven. We are dealing with very erratic, high speed winds with gusts up to 90 miles per hour. We do have communities threatened. We have the Orchard Hills community in Orange County threatened, that is a very big concern for us. We do have resources in place for structure defense, if need be."

According to the Orange County FA PIO on Twitter "there are mandatory evacuations for Orchard Hills on Irvine Blvd: From Bake to Jamboree. Ground and Air support are currently battling the flames. The 241 is closed from Santiago to the 133.

Structures are threatened."
