May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Brett Eldredge recently opened up about battling his own mental health issues.
"After having mental health struggles myself through the years, I decided it was a passion of mine to help others realize they aren't alone in this fight," Eldredge said. "I decided to train for my very own individual half marathon at the beginning of this lockdown to find some resilience in these tough times."
As Eldredge started running, he gave updates at every mile marker to inform people about mental health.
Eldredge finished his first ever half marathon in 1:53:47 and raised over $10,000 for Mental Health America as of Friday morning.
