Emotions were flying high for Chris Young who was visibly shaken while performing at the Grand Ole Opry last week.
Young sang his new song, "Drowning," and on that same day news broke of Granger Smith's son tragically passing away.
"Last week, I debuted my new tune "Drowning" at the Opry and broke down…since then so many people have shared stories of loved ones lost and how they have connected to this song," he wrote on Instagram. "I want you guys to have this one, and make it your own, so I'm going to release it this Friday."
"Drowning" will officially be released on June 14th.
