Another Inland Empire 4th of July event has been cancelled due to coronavirus.

According to the Press Enterprise, the city of Corona will not put on it's annual Main Street parade and will join Riverside, Temecula and Moreno Valley in canceling it's evening fireworks show.

City spokeswoman Cindy Solis said that the festivities won't take place to help prevent the spread of coronavirus and to protect it's residents.

While the city still wants to celebrates the nation's birthday, Corona will be hosting a home and business decorating contest, along with a "Yankees Doodle Dog (or Pet)" photo contest.
