More than 80 patients from the Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Riverside have been evacuated.

A total of 84 patients are being moved after employees of the facility did not show up to care for sick patients two days in a row, according to a news release from the Riverside County Public Health Department.
Riverside University Health System and Kaiser Permanente sent a total of 33 licensed vocational nurses and registered nurses to care for the residents at the facility after only one of the facility's nursing assistants showed up to work.
As of Tuesday morning, the current total of confirmed cases is 1,016, with 28 deaths and 67 recoveries.
