Loma Linda University Health is taking charge in helping our community during one of the most urgent health crises in generations, COVID-19.
According to the hospital, here's everything they've been doing to meet the healthcare needs of the community:
- Expanding capacity to care for additional patients beyond our current capacity
- Mobilizing our expert healthcare providers to care for COVID-19 patients
- Providing trauma and other lifesaving care for non-COVID-19 health conditions
- Converting to telehealth provider visits while suspending elective surgeries and procedures to reduce exposure and spread
- Continuing to train the next generation of healthcare workers through online learning
They're asking for your help to save lives during this difficult and uncertain time. The following are immediate and meaningful things you can donate to in the race to save lives:
COVID-19 CLINICAL CARE FUND
- Supporting patient care and family care of patients
- Providing social services
- Supplying patient care equipment and supplies
- Expanding diagnostic and testing capacity
- Helping us continue to support extended staff time and benefits for health care providers working on the frontlines of the crisis
COVID-19 STUDENT RELIEF FUND
- Food, housing and other living expenses
- Tuition support
- Technology and other expenses to participate in distance learning
Loma Linda University Health is also accepting donations of new and unused critical care supplies for our providers, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
