Fans of Maren Morris have been waiting to catch another glimpse of her baby boy, Hayes, on social media and the wait is finally over!
"The Bones" singer shared two photos over the weekend (August 23), holding her now 5-month-old son over her head, smiling and bringing him in for a smooch.
Morris recently opened up about giving birth and how her 30-hour labor resulted in an unplanned c-section. She explains how the postpartum of a c-section is "so brutal" and left her feeling very lonesome.
"I wish people talked more about their C-sections stories because I felt kind of, like a lot of mothers, just really isolated, really lonely," she said. "You will come back. You will snap back, and it takes time."
She's also spent time battling internet trolls who have "Mommy-Shamed" her in the past. Most recently, she was criticized for not having a life jacket on her son while they were floating in the river, which led her to removing all of the photos of her son off of the internet.
It's refreshing to see Morris being able to post photos of her son again and to see them so happy together. Hopefully we'll continue to see photos of little Hayes and catch him in more of those stylish outfits.
