Riverside County, 18 Others, To Close Indoor Operations

During Wednesday's Coronavirus press conference, Governor Gavin Newsom made a major announcement for 19 counties, including Riverside County.

Effective immediately, the following counties (Contra Costa, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Kern, Kings, LA, Merced, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tulare and Ventura) must close indoors operations for the following sectors:

- Restaurants

- Wineries

- Movie theaters & family entertainment

- Zoos, museums

- Cardrooms

Along with those closures, all bars must shut down their operations.

With the Fourth of July just days away, Gov. Newsom also stated that parking facilities at state beaches in Southern CA and the Bay Area will be closed this weekend.
