A teary eyed Shaquille O'Neal spoke for the first time about his former teammate Kobe Bryant, following the news of his tragic death along with 8 others in a helicopter crash Sunday morning.
"I have never seen anything like this," O'Neal said on Tuesday nights episode of Inside the NBA. " The fact that we lost probably the world's greatest Laker, world's greatest basketball player, people say take your time and get better. But it's going to be hard for me."
During their time on the Lakers together, Shaq and Kobe won three consecutive championships from 2000 - 2002.
"The fact that we are not going to be able to say if we would have stayed together, we could have gotten 10 ... those are the things you can't get back."
