Construction on the brand new SoFi Stadium has been temporarily shut down after a worker fell to his death Friday morning.

According to Fox 11, the worker was pronounced dead at the scene and circumstances surrounding the fall were not immediately disclosed.

SoFi Stadium was set to hold it's first big event in July with back-to-back Taylor Swift concerts, but due to COVID-19 that was cancelled.

Along with being the future home of the NFL's Rams and Chargers, the stadium will also host Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the Summer Olympics in 2028 and the College Football Playoff National Title Game.
