Glendale Galleria is closed like other malls in Southern California, but their restaurants have been trying new tactics to keep employees employed and money coming in so they don't have to close doors permanently once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
At first, the patio areas were open to the restaurants at the Galleria to provide seating for patrons. Mall operators saw how quickly the tables were filling up, so they are now trying something unprecedented; dining in the parking garage. It's true. You can now dine inside the Glendale Galleria parking garage. The empty parking spaces provides plenty of room for many tables and social distancing.
