Community Action Partnership (CAP) presented the results of a 63-question survey to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors June 25.
The survey known as a Community Action Plan touched on everything from housing to income, medical care and transportation. It is used as a two year roadmap for the county and enables officials to attain grant money for public programs.
One shocking response was that 72 percent of respondents said they would not be able to pay an unexpected $400 expense from income or savings.
Vince Wrzalinski, interim chief for the Riverside County Community Action Partnership discussed some of the results of the 2019 survey.
