The Census Bureau is accepting applications for Census Takers in the Palm Springs area.
The national response rate right now is 64%. In California it is 66%. However in the Palm Springs area the response rate is 52% which is lower than the final response rate of 53.4% obtained in 2010 Census in the same area.
Angelica Vasquez from the Census Bureau came on the program to solicite the need for more Census Taker applicants in the area of Palm Springs.
Applicants can apply now at 2020census.gov/jobs or call 1-855-JOB-2020 (562-2020).
