COVID-19 social distancing policies have forced schools in California to close for the remainder of the school year. Parents are left grappling with home learning and are looking for help.
Ilana Lowrey, Regional Manager at Common Sense Media came on the program to talk about their new free educational portal called Wide Open School.
Wide Open School is a free collection of the best online learning experiences for kids curated by the editors at Common Sense. The site curates easy-to-use, pre-screened content by grade/age level, and includes resources for educators, families and English-learners.
