School closures, coupled with the economic pressures of the COVID-19 crisis, are causing children to experience food insecurity at unprecedented rates.
In California – 58.1% of students are enrolled in free and reduced lunch programs, according to a new report by Trust for America's Health (TFAH).
Adam Lustig, Manager at Trust for America's Health came on the program to talk about the report and the recommendations to ensure students have access to healthy meals during the Covid-19 Pandemic even during distance learning.
