The U.S. Vets organization in the Inland Empire has a slogan, 'Serving Those Who Served,' and they are staying true to that moto even during these unprecedented times.

Founded in 1993, they are the nation's largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans.  The Inland Empire division is located at the March Air Reserve Base, off the 215 freeway in Riverside County, and they provide housing, counseling, meals, case management and services to homeless and at-risk veterans.

There is a growing generation of veterans with new challenges to face. In the past 10 years, two million troopshave been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. As they return home, many will experience challenges adjustingback to civilian life, and the U.S. Vets organization is here to help them.

They have so many amazing programs to help our local veterans, and Teresa Bertani, the Veteran Talent Specialist, and Jesse Duran, U.S. Vets' HR Generalist, want to make everyone aware of their Career Development Initiative that helps veterans, and employers who want to hire them.

Their goal is to help unemployed veterans find meaningful work that allows them to become self-sufficient members of civilian society.  Teresa and Jesse want veterans and employers to know that there is zero cost for employers to work with U.S. Vets to help them fill their staffing needs. There are tax credits available to employers for hiring veterans, and in some cases, employees and employers could get cash bonuses by working with the U.S. Vets program.

Whether you're a Veteran seeking employment, or an Employer looking for qualified candidates, this interview is one you won't want to miss.

They are always looking for new Employers to join their program as well!

Veterans who want to apply for the program can click here for the direct CDI Link.
