Charlie Daniels Dies at 83

All Access has reported that Charlie Daniels, best known for "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", passed away this morning at 83, from an alleged hemorrhagic stroke. 

Daniels passed away in Hermitage, Tennessee. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry, he is survived by one son, and his wife, Hazel.

Charlie Daniels was a songwriter, singer and played multiple instruments throughout his career.  His contributions to Southern Rock, Bluegrass and Country are unparalled.  

He will be missed.
