Jo Dee Messina, who gave us country hits like "Heads Carolina, Tails California" and "Bye Bye" in the 90's, has lost her Mom, Mary.
According to Taste of Country, Mary had been having health issues for some time, and passed away on April 19th.
Jo Dee took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to her beloved Mother.
If you grew up on Jo Dee's music, you know how close she was to her Mom. And her Mom was right beside her while Jo Dee was battling cancer. Our hearts are with Jo Dee and her family.
