A lawsuit was filed Friday by the estate of David Turner (no relation to Josh), Josh's Sound Engineer, who died in the crash, and two other members of his road crew.
According to CalCoastNews.com, the lawsuit alleges defective design of the bus, and negligence, among other things.
You may recall the fatal bus accident occurred following a Josh Turner show in Paso Robles, CA in September of 2019. According to reports, the bus carrying some of Josh's road crew for unknown reasons, went off the road and down a cliff injuring 7 and killing David Turner.
Josh was in a separate bus and was uninjured in the accident.
The case will be heard in court in September of this year. The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages.
