According to EOnline! NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, today confirmed that during a Super Bowl press conference, that the late Kobe Bryant, will be honored during the Super Bowl.
No further details were given on exactly what type of tribute will be conducted, but this Sunday will mark one-week since the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of the Lakers giant, his 13-year old daughter, and 6 other victims, all from Southern California.
The tribute during the Super Bowl on Sunday, will be one of many tributes that have taken place over the past several days, including on the eve of his death during the GRAMMY Awards Broadcast.
The Super Bowl airs this Sunday on FOX with kick-off at 3:30pm Pacific Time. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49'ers.
