It's a Mother's worst nightmare, and now Melissa Etheridge is living it with the death of her 21-year old son, Beckett.
According to PEOPLE, Beckett passed away from an opioid overdose. Etheridge noted that he'd struggled for some time, with a heartbreaking post on her Instagram page.
Beckett was Etheridge's son with former her former partner, Julie Cypher. The couple also has a daughter together, and Etheridge shares twins with her ex, Tammy Lynn Michaels.
