Drake White says if the fans show up, he'll show up.

The "It Feels Good" singer is working on new music with Jaren Johnston of Cadillac Three, amidst a busy show schedule.

"We've always worked together in some capacity whether it be writing or just hanging out," White says, in an interview with KFRG. "To be in the studio with him making the soulful country fuzz that we had always thought about making; we're doing exactly what we want to do. It's pretty freeing, it's pretty damn awesome. It's liberating."

White's stage presence is energetic; taking up as much real estate as possible, the singer is all over the stage performing for his fans.

"My mom and my dad they were liberal enough to let me do my thing growing up," White recalls. "If it was dirt bikes or bicycles, I was always trying to push the limits on what I was doing. I've brought that over to the musical side because that's what I wanted to do, because it's fun."

White admittedly doesn't watch much TV but was enthralled, like so many others, in Game of Thrones

"People were disappointed with the end, but what do you do? First of all, the way it ended, that is the best king in the world," White said. "In my opinion, he is the best one in the world. He can tell the future. He's calm, collected. I loved that part about it. There's a couple of little things I would've changed but it's phenomenal TV.

"It's the best TV of all time. Hands down."

Drake White is slotted to play the Brandin' Iron in San Bernardino on Friday, June 21. His latest EP, Drake White and the Big Fire (Live), is out now.
