Registration for the third annual Walk for Kids has opened.
A 5K to help raise funds for servcies provided by the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House, the Walk for Kids will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at 8:00a. The walk will be hosted at Fontana Park (15556 Summit Ave., Fontana) and registration and activities will start at 7:00a.
Other Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids 5K events are also scheduled for April 7 and other later dates, including:
- April 7 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles
- April 7 at Central Park in Pasadena
- April 7 at The Honda Center in Anaheim
- April 7 on The UCLA Campus in Westwood
- April 7 at The San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura
- April 7 at The Fontana Park in Fontana
- April 28 at Shoreline Park in Long Beach
- June 1 at The California Living Museum in Bakersfield
The Ronald McDonald House Southern California has a total goal of $2.25 million, which includes the local Inland Empire House goal of $240,000. The funds assist the families staying at the houses while their seriously ill children are in Southern California hospitals.
