The Los Angeles Lakers are NBA Champions! The Lakers beat the Heat 106-93 during game 6 to win the franchise's 17th title.
While the players celebrated safely within the bubble in Orlando, Laker fans gathered outside of Staples Center.
Prior to the Lakers big win, the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department warned people about celebrating safely.
That warning fell on deaf ears for many. TMZ first reported that 67 people were arrested during last night's celebration. Those arrests included 61 people for fail to disperse, 5 for looting, and 1 for vandalism. That number was later updated by TMZ to a total of 76 arrests. Sadly, 8 officers were also reportedly injured and more than 30 businesses were damaged.
