The Apple Fire has been threatening Southern California since Friday and firefighters have been working around the clock to keep the community safe.
The O.C. Firefighters posted that they were able to safely rescue a dog that was wondering the fire line on Monday. The firefighters cared for the dog until they could get him to an animal control respresentive.
The video of the rescue has been shared and viewed multiple times and luckily the pooch has been reunited with it's owner. One of the firefighters that rescued the dog had said he would adopt the dog if no owner came forward.
The dog escaped the fire with no injuries.
