The El Dorado Fire continues to burn for the 13th day and sadly as the brave fire crews continue to battle the blaze they're mourning the loss of one of their own.
The firefighter was reported missing on Thursday.
Sadly, the San Bernardino National Forest twitter account updated the search efforts and released the grim news that the firefighter died.

The identity of the firefighter is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. The SBNF also tweeted that the cause of death is being investigated.
As of last night's update the fire is currently 66% contained with more than 19,000 acres burned.
The El Dorado Fire was caused by a smoke generating pyrotechnic device used at a gender reveal.
