NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson has been cleared to return to the racetrack this weekend.
According to TMZ, last weekend Jimmie had to pull out of the Brickyard 500 after he tested positive for coronavirus. Since his positive test he's been retested twice, once on Monday and then again on Tuesday. Both of those tests have come back negative. In addition to his negative tests, Jimmie has also been cleared by his physician.
After Jimmie's positive test, 4 additional crew members were tested and cleared after their results came back negative. Hendrick Motorsports says they will now conduct daily coronavirus tests.
