Last weekend, thousands of people flocked to the beach to take advantage of the warm weather. Although, social distancing was being practiced, the amount of people had officials concerned.
Newport Beach officials held a special meeting yesterday (4/28) to decide if they should close the beach for the next 3 weekends to decrease the potential of being exposed to coronavirus.
After a vote of 5-2, officials decided to keep Newport Beach open. If you plan to hit the beach, be sure to follow all beach rules and social distance.
