The pandemic has changed the way a lot of retailers are accommodating their shoppers. Target is getting a head of the holiday rush by implementing some new guidelines and procedures.
Many stores are required to limit their instore capacity, which results in shopper waiting in line to enter the store. Target will allow shoppers to check and see if there is a line at their local store by going to Target.com/line. If there is a line, shopper can reserve a shopping spot and according to Progressive Grocer they will be notified with a text that it is their turn to enter the store.
Other changes also include more drive up spots, which eliminate the need for you to enter the store.
