The last remaining Blockbuster is being transformed into an Airbnb for one weekend only.
The Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon is being transformed for a once in a lifetime experience. According to TMZ, 3 lucky people will get to have a dream sleep over. The store will have a makeshift living room and of course it will have all your favorite movies to binge all night long. In order to get the full nostalgia of the Blockbuster era, there will be a VHS player on hand to watch the movies. The video games will also be available.
To really one up the experience, the Blockbuster will have all the snacks you'd want for an epic sleepover like pizza, candy, and popcorn.
Now here's the bummer, in order to try and get reservations you have to be a resident of Deschutes County. The store's owner, Sandi Harding, said she wanted to give back to the community since they helped to keep the store in business. The nightly rental fee is $4 a night.
