Brantley Gilbert loves the meaning of Christmas, if not all the commotion around it, but he has a new appreciation for it now that he has a wife and kids to enjoy it with.
"Our house looks like the friggin' North Pole man – early," he shares in a statement from his label. "I mean, literally, they take Thanksgiving dinner off the table and right at that moment, like, the centerpiece is like a little Christmas tree.
"She's got a Christmas tree in every room, literally every room in the house," he says of his wife Amber. "Our dog has a Christmas tree. Our little boy has a Christmas tree. We got a Christmas tree in the bedroom. They're everywhere.
"And to be honest with you, the true meaning of Christmas has always been very, very important to me. But the whole hoopla around it was never really my favorite thing. But I can honestly say my wife has changed that in me. Christmas is her favorite holiday, so I'm coming around. I'm not so much Scrooge anymore, I don't guess. I'm working my way out of the Scrooge role."
